Jesus said suffer not the little children to come unto him. He said we must become like a child to enter the kingdom of heaven. What are children like? They trust their parents and have a faith in their parents. This I pray we will all have.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

Earrings

I can't believe it. Three weeks ago I finally went to pierce my ears after contemplating for so long and today I actually bought this Disney Babies Earrings! When I heard the price of these earrings, I was quite surprised that they actually cost $138. There are no diamonds, no gems, no nothing, only 18k white gold. But I have been eyeing this pair of earrings for a long time and today I finally bought them. The earrings are actually Disney baby Marie the cat and I fell in love with them at the first sight! Have felt wierd that I actually bought it as it seems expensive to me. But pastor once said that follow the peace. If you felt there is unpeace, then don't do it. Listen to the Holy spirit, not your money. For example if your Holy Spirit says to go on a holiday but your bank account says no, go for the holiday! God will surely provide the finance for you. If you don't go, so it means that money is your God since you listen to your money lah! Haha!

Muackz!

Grandma's Cures

Received an email from my friend and it sounds so useful! Hmmm.. Need to test to see if the methods really work..

1. Did You Know That? Drinking two glasses of Gatorade can relieve
headache pain almost immediately -- without the unpleasant side effects
caused by traditional "pain relievers."

2. Did you know that Colgate toothpaste makes an excellent salve for
burns.

3. Before you head to the drugstore for a high-priced inhaler filled
with mysterious chemicals, try chewing on a couple of curiously strong
Altoids peppermints. They'll clear up your stuffed nose.

4. Achy muscles from a bout of the flu? Mix 1 Tablespoon of horseradish
in 1 cup of olive oil. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes, then apply
it as a massage oil, for instant relief for aching muscles.

5. Sore throat? Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and
take 1 tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria.

6. Cure urinary tract infections with Alka-Seltzer . Just dissolve two
tablets in a glass of water and drink it at the onset of the symptoms.
Alka-Seltzer begins eliminating urinary tract infections almost
instantly -- even though the product was never been advertised for this use.
(Note: Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold Medicine is not the same...and contains
aspirin, which can cause stomach bleeding if you have ulcers.)

7. Honey remedy for skin blemishes... Cover the blemish with a dab of
honey and place a Band-Aid over it. Honey kills the bacteria, keeps the
skin sterile, and speeds healing. Works overnight.

8. Listerine therapy for toenail fungus... Get rid of unsightly toenail
fungus by soaking your toes in Listerine mouthwash. The powerful
antiseptic leaves your toenails looking healthy again.

9. Easy eyeglass protection... To prevent the screws in eyeglasses from
loosening, apply a small drop of Maybelline Crystal Clear nail polish
to the threads of the screws before tightening them.

10. Coca-Cola cure for rust... Forget those expensive rust removers.
Just saturate an abrasive sponge with Coca Cola and scrub the rust stain.
The phosphoric acid in the coke is what gets the job done.

11. Cleaning liquid that doubles as bug killer... If menacing bees,
wasps, hornets, or yellow jackets get in your home and you can't find the
insecticide, try a spray of Formula 409. Insects drop to the ground
instantly.

12. Smart splinter remover...just pour a drop of Elmer's Glue-All over
the splinter, let dry, and peel the dried glue off the skin. The
splinter sticks to the dried glue.

13. Hunt's tomato paste boil cure...cover the boil with Hunt's tomato
paste as a compress. The acids from the tomatoes soothe the pain and
bring the boil to a head.

14. Balm for broken blisters...To disinfect a broken blister, dab on a
few drops of Listerine .. a powerful antiseptic.

15. Heinz vinegar to heal bruises... Soak a cotton ball in white
vinegar and apply it to the bruise for 1 hour. The vinegar reduces the
blueness and speeds up the healing process.

16. Kills fleas instantly. Dawn dish washing liquid does the trick. Add
a few drops to your dog's bath and shampoo the animal thoroughly. Rinse
well to avoid skin irritations. Goodbye fleas.

17. Rainy day cure for dog odor... Next time your dog comes in from the
rain, simply wipe down the animal with Bounce or any dryer sheet,
instantly making your dog smell springtime fresh.

18. Eliminate ear mites... All it takes is a few drops of Wesson corn
oil in your cat's ear. Massage it in, then clean with a cotton ball.
Repeat daily for 3 days. The oil soothes the cat's skin, smothers the
mites, and accelerates healing.

19. Quaker Oats for fast pain relief....It's not for breakfast anymore!
Mix 2 cups of Quaker Oats and 1 cup of water in a bowl and warm in the
microwave for 1 minute, cool slightly, and apply the mixture to your
hands for soothing relief from arthritis pain.

Hope it works.. Am hoping to try out the rust remover method.. Heez..

Jesus loves me and you!
Be blessed!

ROM

Bro: Hey, where are you two going tomorrow?
Bi: We are going to ROM! Heihei..
Me: -_-"

Actually today we just went to attend Bi's good friend's ROM. I'm not going ROM that soon.. Haha..

Anyway, his friend was quite surprised to see us as he did not expect Bi to take half day leave to attend it. The ceremony started at around 4.20pm and after 5 mins, everything was done! The vows were exchanged, papers signed, bride was kissed, photo taken and we were soon ushered out quickly of the room as there is another couple waiting to go in. Felt like a lifetime commitment was decided in too short of a time.

I kind of like the church wedding I attended last December. One of my church pastor will be the one holding the ceremony and they held it at Grand Hyatt hotel. There was worship first, then a short video of the photos of the bride and groom from they were young till now, then the bride comes in and the ceremony begins. After that, there was buffet lunch and everyone just interacted with each other. There was song and dance and it was really very heartwarming and memorable. At least it feels better than just finishing everything in 5 mins and at 5pm, ROM is closed for the day.

Bi and I have agreed to do the church wedding when we get married. Invite everyone who are close to us and witness us signing the papers and exchanging vows. And most importantly have our Father God witness our wedding! Hehe.. Well, I still have a long way to go! Graduate first but continue dreaming! My dream will come true! *winkz*

Jesus loves me and you!
Dreams do come true!

The Romantic Side of me

13 Feb:

Had school the whole day and after school, I rushed down to Suntec to attend the Woman's workshop organised by my church. But before service, I bought the speakers which my bro had informed me that Bi loves. Quite heavy and had to carry it all the way to level 6 to the workshop.

14 Feb:

Bi is coming back today from Sabah. He had went back to Sabah on Saturday and is coming back today. My dad came to school to fetch me around 4 pm and brought me down to the nearest Cold Storage.

I had told my parents that I want to cook soup for Bi to drink (he's a soup lover).

My dad really is a great help! He actually accompanied me run around the store in hunt of the ingredients and also paid for all the items. He even kept asking me what Bi likes. Chocolate? Ice-cream? I got M&Ms for Bi and my dad kept asking me is it enough? Haha! I just love my dad! He loves me so much and now he also loves Bi alot too and treats him like one of his sons.

After buying all that is needed, we rushed back home and got all the pots and plates and went to Bi's house to start cooking. My dad left me and my mom at Bi's house to cook and he headed back to have a bath. But.. neither me or my mom knew how to start the fire of the cooker so after my dad bathed, he came down again to help out. I can't believe it! My parents had to help me so much to cook one pot of soup! -_-" Think I have to practice more cooking.. Haha! Anyway, my dad could not get the fire started too and soon, Bi reached home. -_-" And I only had the ingredients prepared! Not yet started cooking and he come back already.. -_-"

So.. In the end, my parents left me and Bi to cook and they sat in the living room to relax. Haha.. Bi watched the soup while I put in all the ingredients and in the end, the result was a pot of overly saltish corn and chicken soup. I had actually mistaken 10 teaspoons of liquid chicken stock to be 10 tablespoons of liquid chicken stock. What a blunder! So.. Bi cooked instant noodles using the soup so he had corn and chicken soup noodles for dinner that day. Haha! And my dinner was just the soup.

My parents left so that we can have some time together and we explored the speakers which I bought for him.

With love songs playing on the new speakers, we danced. A romantic dance to end the hectic but wonderful day.

The checkup

I went to Gleneagles with my Aunt today. She is 34 weeks pregnant now and soon I will have a baby cousin! Anyway, I accompanied my Aunt to her checkup so that I can meet the doctor who delivered me when I was born! Have never really known how she looks like and was curious to find out.

Well, had I not gone to the checkup with my Aunt, I would never have heard the baby's heartbeat that loud! The doctor placed some equipment over my Aunt's tummy and the heartbeat was beating fast and loud, with some water rushing sound. Had a biology lesson today. Did you know that during the early stages of pregnancy, the baby's heart beats very fast? The heartbeat gradually becomes slower towards the delivery date.

I did not expect the doctor to look so gentle and petite. I knew she was quite old but she still looked young. She spoke very steadily and gently. Of course she could not recognise me now. I do look a lot different compared to 20 over years ago when I was just born. Suddenly had a thought. Would love to have her deliver my baby in the near future! Haha! I and Bi would love to have a baby girl! Heard that have to eat more vegetables to have a girl. And I don't really love greens. Ha!

Jesus loves me and you!
Muack!
