Israel Bloggie -- Under Construction

Jus dropping by to say that i'm now designing a blog to introduce you all to the places i've been in Israel and also to show you the pictures i've taken. i can't tell you when will it be completed cos there are alot of things to do and i dun have alot of time to do. so be patient ba.. heez.. will try my best to explain as much interesting things that i got to know from the tour guide there.. meanwhile, take care all of you out there and may God bless you richly in everything you do..

Checking In..

A priest passing through his church in the middle of theday. Decided to pause by the altar and see who hadcome to pray. Just then the back door opened, a man came down the aisle, the priest frowned as he saw the man hadn't shaved in a while. His shirt was kinda shabby and his coat was worn and frayed, the man knelt, he bowed his head, then rose and walked away.

In the days that followed, each noon time came this chap, each time he knelt just for a moment, a lunch pail in his lap. Well, the priest's suspicions grew, with robbery a main fear, He decided to stop the man and ask him, "What are you doing here?"

The old man said, he worked down the road. Lunch was half an hour. Lunchtime was his prayer time, for finding strength and power.

"I stay only moments, see, because the factory is so far away; as I kneel here talking to the Lord, this is kinda what I say:"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD, HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN, SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN. DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY. SO, JESUS, THIS IS JIM CHECKING IN TODAY."

The priest feeling foolish, told Jim, that was fine. He told the man he was welcome to come and pray just anytime. Time to go, Jim smiled, said "Thanks." He hurried to the door. The priest knelt at the altar, he'd never done it before.

His cold heart melted, warmed with love, and met with Jesus there. As the tears flowed, in his heart, he repeated old Jim's prayer:"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD, HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN, SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN. I DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY, BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY. SO, JESUS, THIS IS ME CHECKING IN TODAY."

Past noon one day, the priest noticed that old Jim hadn't come. As more days passed without Jim, he began to worry some. At the factory, he asked about him, learning he was ill. The hospital staff was worried, but he'd given them a thrill.

The week that Jim was with them, brought changes in the ward. His smiles, a joy contagious. Changed people, were his reward. The head nurse couldn't understand when no flowers, calls or cards came, not a visitor he had.

The priest stayed by his bed, he voiced the nurse's concern: No friends came to show they cared. He had nowhere to turn. Looking surprised, old Jim spoke up and with a winsome smile;" the nurse is wrong, she couldn't know, that in here all the while everyday at noon He's here, a dear friend of mine, you see, He sits right down, takes my hand, leans over and says to me:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, JIM, HOW HAPPY I HAVE BEEN, SINCE WE FOUND THIS FRIENDSHIP, AND I TOOK AWAY YOUR SIN. ALWAYS LOVE TO HEAR YOU PRAY, I THINK ABOUT YOU EACH DAY, AND SO JIM, THIS IS JESUS, CHECKING IN TODAY."

May God hold you in the palm of His handand Angels watch over you.

Jesus's love for me..

have not been talking about my daily life for a very long time and feel like doing so now.. bi has been extremely blessed! he has jus moved to a semi-detached house which is a 5 to 10 min walk to my place! heez~ he is very sweet to me.. every morning, he comes over to my house and helps me clean up my doggie's cage and also tidies up my bed.. i have never met such a wonderful guy like him..

but hmmm.. i will wana see how will he behave when he start work proper.. cos a guy under stress is different from a guy under relaxation.. jus like my ex.. last time when we were studying, my ex treated me very well too.. but after he went to the army, he totally changed and only cared for his games and comics.. even my friends and relatives know how he treated me though i seldom talk to them.. there are too many things that he has done to upset me.. anyway, i dun care for how he has treated me in the past since i broke up with him already..

dun blame me cos i'm still human.. so now i pray that Jesus will take all those sad memories from me and cast them into the sea.. now the centre of my life is Jesus for He will never let me down and will always be there for me.. whenever i focus on Jesus's love for me, i have alot of love for my sweet bi.. glad to hear from bi that he feels more closer to God.. heez~ i love to fellowship with bi whenever i get revelation from God.. i love to read the bible with bi and let him understand and know more of God's love for him.. i love to discuss the bible stories with him cos each bible story has many meanings to it.. Jesus is really an extremely wonderful 3rd party to have in my relationship with bi.. whenever i feel unloved or sad, i turn to Jesus and feed on Jesus's love and soon i will have more than enough love for my sweet bi.. thank you Jesus for loving me so much! i love You Jesus cos You first loved me..

Valentine's Day

jus read an email that i got from Dayspring Cards.. used to visit their website to look for ecards to send.. you can visit their website to view their free ecards.. anyway, in this email, there is a story which i would like to share.. here it goes..

When I was younger and people asked me what my favorite holiday was, I always responded "Valentine’s Day!" with a dreamy look in my eyes. I was the ultimate romantic. I loved anything to do with hearts and flowers, sappy movies, mushy poems—the works! To me, that was the definition of real love.

As time has gone by, my perspective of love has changed a little bit. Okay, a lot! I remember a few years ago sitting at my computer and staring at my screen with a scowl on my face. I was supposed to be writing Valentine's Day cards, and I couldn't think of anything nice to say about my former favorite holiday. I had discovered that sugary, pink, perfect dreams of romantic love were just that—a dream! I had a wonderful husband who loved me deeply, but our relationship had gotten past the "honeymoon stage" and settled into real life. I wanted life to be all about hearts and flowers, but sometimes it was more about dishes and laundry!

As I sat brooding, the Lord began to challenge my concept of love. "Do you think love is just what you see in the movies?" He seemed to quietly ask. He began to bring to mind images of when love had touched my life--a sweet smile from my husband at the end of the day, a note from a friend at just the right moment, my Mom's gentle hug, an act of kindness from someone I hardly knew, and most of all, Jesus dying on the cross for me. Suddenly, I could see that my view of love had been too narrow. Love wasn't just in sappy movies and mushy poems. It was all around me. It was part of my life every day, but so many times I just didn't see it. I thought love came in one shape and size, but God showed me that love is limitless in Him.

Sometimes I still sigh longingly when I see row after row of heart-shaped balloons or red teddy bears in February. But now when I do, I can also say a silent prayer of thanks for all the real love that is in my life—love that is so much more than I had imagined. Valentine's Day used to be about what I thought love was, but it has turned into a time of celebrating the very best love there is—God's kind of love!

Random Thoughts...

hmmm... felt like typing an entry.. full of thoughts these few days.. sorry that the following points don't seem related.. heez..

1. alot of people always say this phrase "God help those who help themselves.." my mom used to say that before she got saved.. well, i feel it is not true.. if u can help yourself, i dun think u will need God's help right? God loves you very much and would love to have you rest in His love and let Him take care of all your problems.. IF you let Him take care of all your problems, that makes Him feel like God.. so don't worry about your problems.. leave all your burdens and cares to God.. He wana feel like He is God.. so be rest assured that He will make everything work out extremely well for you in the end.. *smilez*

2. when God created the things like animals or sea creatures or the stars etc, He will speak to that atmosphere to create them.. like when He wants to create land animals, He spoke to the land.. when He wants to create stars in the sky, He spoke to the heavens.. but when He wanted to create Man, He spoke to Himself.. so we are created in the image of God..

AND for all these things to survive, they have to be close to their environment in which they are created from.. like the fish is created in the water so it has to stay in the water to survive.. a star in the sky must stay in the sky and if it drops down to earth, it becomes a dead star.. our spirits are from God so to survive spiritually, we should stay close to God..

3. i have often spoke about this verse "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27.." well, i forgot if i have mentioned before but i will say this again.. the peace that Jesus gave us before He died was a peace that our environment cannot give us.. it is the inner peace that He gave us.. our outside environment cannot give us such peace.. you may go to spa etc to relax and be peaceful but if something is bothering you alot, you feel relaxed outwardly but feel stressed inwardly.. the peace that Jesus gave us is such that even if you are in a chaotic situation, you will still be at peace..

4. back to the creation point.. from the bible, Man, who is Adam, is created from the dust of the ground so man tends to be dirty and they dun mind being dirty.. woman, Eve, is created from Man's side so she has to stay close to man's side.. so guys, when you don't know how to make your girl happy or comfort her when she is upset, just hold her close to your side and she will be very happy..

5. guys, do you wana get your girl to watch soccer with you? imagine this scene..
He: "darling, come over here.."
She:"what you want?"
He:"you see that guy, wearing the number 12 shirt? his gf left him ah.. very sad ah.."
She:"is it?"
then your girl will come walking to the tv, sit down and watch soccer with you..

girls are people oriented while guys are object oriented.. that's why girls dun understand why will 22 big guys chase after a small little ball..
