Faith -- sometimes a barrier..

some people must be thinking, "huh? how come faith is a barrier to get the blessings you want? i thought you need to have faith so that you can get your blessings?"

faith is sometimes a barrier between you and God.. many a times, people pray like this," God, i want to be healed of my disease." and after praying, they will keep telling themselves," I am healed!" and repeat that all day. it's the same as a man who keep telling himself,"I am a MAN!" when he IS in fact a man.

God has given you his one and only beloved son and what more does not he give you freely? He wants you to know that you are in Jesus and many a times He has said that Jesus is his beloved son so you are also his beloved child since you are in Jesus! Jesus has paid for all your sins and took away all your diseases away at the cross so act like you are healed! act like you are rich! when God tells you to bless others be it financially or physically, do it and God will multiply your blessings even more abundantly according to his riches in Heaven.

when you think of God as almighty and most importantly, He loves you so very much, you will naturally have the faith in God. Just like parents who love their children. if you have difficulty in anything, do you think your parents will be willing to help? of course they will! if you have a friend who is very rich and always help you no matter what, you will also naturally have the faith that he has the ability and willingness to help you right? jus like God.. He has already given you his only beloved son and He of course has the ability to give you the things that you want, of course he will bless you so ever richly. jus think of how much God loves you and you will naturally have faith in him.

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

how is that the same ? the first guy could be sick all the while and was healed ... so there's a change..

And how are we in Jesus just because he admits he is His Beloved son. Just like we are his "sons and daughters" as we call him our Abba Father..

At 4:23 PM, Cocoabun said...: some people they keep confessing that they are healed or etc but they do not believe it in their hearts that they are healed.. if someone keeps telling himself that he is a man, that means he don't believe that he is a man.. some people they confess and they seem to be trying to convince God to heal them.. it's just like u keep telling God," Hey God, i confess that i am healed, i'm telling u that i'm healed.. so would u please heal me?" actually is coming down to know that you know God is able and most importantly WILLING to heal you.. God loves the birds and feeds them, what more Man who is made in His image.. so look at God's love for u and His greatness and you believe in your heart that u ARE already healed as Jesus has already taken away all your sickness and diseases away at the cross..

[ha found the link!] Confessing is also important after u take the step of believing because it reinforces what you think and believe. Gee but i don't think Faith can limit us or be a barrier because faith isn't about making a demand before God. Faith is all about believing. Faiths is the substance of the things hope for. Its the believing of the things unseen. Heb 11:1.
