Tsunami -- 26 December 2004

jus wana say that the tsunami that happened on 26 december was not God-sent.. it was the devil.. why do i say that? if it was God-sent, do you think there will be tsunami in heaven? i don't think so.. the devil always follows after wat God has done.. dun be puzzled, let me explain..

remember the story of Moses? before Moses was born, the jews were slaves in Eygpt.. so God sent Moses to be born.. when the devil knew that a saviour for the Jews was born, he got the Pharoh to kill all the babies but failed to kill Moses and hence the Jews were saved out of Egypt..

another example was Jesus.. when Jesus was born, the devil made king Herod kill all the little boys in Bethlehem who were not 2 years old.. but the devil failed again and Jesus died on the cross, conquered death for us and saved all of us..

thus, this tsunami of such great magnitude would be mean that God has done something extremely wonderful.. God has released great great blessings over Asia while the devil is trying to bring calamity over Asia.. so children of our heavenly father, be ready to be greatly blessed with the "tsunami" of blessings that God is releasing to us!!

i would like to mention this bible verse..

"and there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;
"men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
"Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luke 21-25,26,27

the bible often shows things that happen before we know it.. but the bible cannot be used to predict the future but to reconfirm the things that happen.. as you can see from the line that i bolded, this actually refers to the tsunami that happened.. this tsunami struck many places, leaving the affected countries very confused and distressed.. this verse is spoken by Jesus 2000 over years ago.. Jesus had already seen what will happen in future and hence He wanted us not to fear.. thus, before He died, He said "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27

so do not be afraid.. keep your eyes on Jesus and peace and happiness will follow you.. just like what Jesus said, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

So do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat?" or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. "
