Grace = Supernatural Favour..

yesterday pastor shared about what to expect from God for the coming year 2005.. God says He will give us His abundance of grace upon us..

grace is actually supernatural favour.. but wat is supernatural favour? talk about natural favour first.. if someone works hard in the company, or tries to apple polish his or her boss, the favour he or she is getting is natural favour.. but the supernatural favour that God gives is SUPER!! not based on one's efforts but based on God..

pastor shared a testimony.. a guy in our church works in a local company in singapore and this company has dealings with an american company.. the american company's boss comes to singapore quite often and recently this guy got to meet up with the boss.. after meeting, the boss said " i like u, i wana give u some shares of my company.." now this guy is in the board of directors and getting director fees.. wow!

in the bible, there is another story of God's supernatural favour on a little boy called Joseph.. when he was young, his family sold him to slavery.. he had nothing at all.. imagine a little boy at the market with onli a linen cloth to cover sold at the market had onli God's supernatural favour on him.. Joseph gained supernatural favour and was bought by a rich man.. this rich man made Joseph in charge of his whole house.. but the rich man's wife liked Joseph and wanted him to sleep with her.. Joseph would not and the wife got Joseph thrown into prison.. but Joseph still had God's supernatural favour on him and he helped some prisoners decipher some dreams.. soon, the Pharoh had dreams troubling him and heard of Joseph.. he called Joseph to decipher his dream and soon, Joseph, with God's supernatural favour on him, was made 2nd to Pharoh in whole of the country..

pastor said to confess God's supernatural favour on yourself and God will make us extremely blessed.. from now on, i will confess God's supernatural favour on me and watch God make miracles happen in my life!! Praise God!!
