Domestic AB-USE

I received an email and guys better read this..

I got flowers today.

It wasn't my birthday or any other special day. We had our first argument last night, and he said alot of cruel things that really hurt me. I know he is sorry and didn't mean the things he said, because he sent meflowers today.

I got flowers today. It wasn't our anniversary or any other special day. Last night, he threw me into a wall and started to choke me. It seemed like a nightmare. I couldn't believe it was real. I woke up this morning sore and bruised all over.I know he must be sorry. Because he sent me flowers today.

I got flowers today. It wasn't Mother's Day or any other special day. Last night, he beat me up again. And it was much worse than all the other times. If I leave him, what will I do? How will I take care of my kids? What about money? I'm afraid of him and scared to leave. But I know he must be sorry. Because he sent me flowers today.

I got flowers today. Today was a very special day. It was the day of my funeral. Last night, he finally killed me. He beat me to death. If only I had gathered enough courage and strength to leave him, I would not have gotten flowers today.

Guys using their strength given to them by God to beat up girls are NOT GUYS AT ALL! I feel so disgusted with guys who beat up their wife or girlfriend. Winning your partner in strength does not mean that YOU are the stronger one but instead that YOU are the weaker one! Violence is not appreciated in any case. A wife or a girlfriend is for loving, not for beating! If you abuse her, you are AB-USEing her. AB-USE is ABNORMAL USE. So guys, you'd better treat your wives or girlfriends like princesses or I'm going to call you a pondan!

hmm... it's so true. no argument doesn't mean it's healthy at all as it's reflected. it might be superficially peaceful but the undercurrent could be strong and the pressure building up. there are sometimes truth and feelings that are hidden during peaceful time only to be revealed in a quarrel. but the point here is to draw the line so the line is not crossed...

domestic violence, hmm, i was a victim of it. friends would recognise it by the bruises and wounds scattered all over me. but that was so long ago, a nightmare that we need not revisit. i despise violence. girl and guy are together not because they're looking for argument or fight, no ?

aniwae, how did you celebrate his birthday eh ? c'mon, me eager to know... hehehe.

btw, u shd allow visitors to comment as a non-blogger. as in my case, i do have blogger account but i no longer blog there as i have found somewhere better. but now ur settings forcing me to log in as a blogger.com account holder, thus my url here won't hold water anymore.
